Sanskriti The Gurukul was awarded the certificate of Excellence for outstanding commitment and exceptional efforts in promoting Co-curricular Education by School Stars. School Stars have also honored Mr. Ashutosh Aggarwal, Secretary and Founder Sanskriti The Gurukul for Thoughtful Leadership in Co-curricular Education 2018-19.

Sanskriti The Gurukul, Guwahati, has always focused on the holistic development of the students in a conducive and progressive environment. The hard work and perseverance of the team and the students were noticed when Sanskriti The Gurukul made its entry in the Forbes Marquee – The Great Indian Schools 2018 Special Edition.
Sanskriti The Gurukul received the award from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt. Of India, towards conservation of Green India and Swachh Bharat Program and promoting Harit Diwali (Green Diwali) among the youth of East India.
It was a very proud moment for Sanskriti The Gurukul when Mr Ashutosh Aggarwal, the Secretary, and I, as Principal, STG, were felicitated and awarded for Excellence in Education by BookLand Publishers, Guwahati in an awe-inspiring program at Vivekananda Kendra.

for the ASIAONE WHITE SWAN AWARDS by ASIAONE MAGAZINE.

Students’ Achievements (Inter School Competitions)
STGians participated in the Brothers Masterson and Bergin Memorial Inter-school Debates 2018 held at St. George’s College, Mussoorie. The team was congratulated for their excellent performance by the judges.
Two Students, Subhrajay Changkakati and Vishesh Bajaj were judged as the 2nd Best team in the Inter-school Debate competition held at Don Bosco Institute, Kharguli and were awarded the Runner Up trophy in Mafizuddin Hazarika Literary Award.
Varun Agarwal and Debargha Roy won the Best Team in the R.R.DAS Memorial Inter-School debate competition held at NPS International School. Varun was judged the Best Speaker and Debargha the Most Promising Speaker.
Nishka Bahety secured the 1st Prize and Riya Agarwal secured the 3rd prize in MAH English Elocution Competition, conducted by Maria’s Public School.
Sanvi Khetan and Ritisha Khaund received the 2nd and the 3rd prize respectively in Elocution in AKSHARA- The Literary Fest held at Royal Global School.
Varun Agarwal received the Best Speaker and Priyanshi Bhartia and Megha Anand received the Most Promising Speakers at the 14th East India Debates held at Assam Valley School.
A team of 3 STG students attended the MUN workshop in IIT Guwahati. Varun Agarwal was judged as the Best Speaker, Debargha Roy, the Best Negotiator and Srishti Dey was awarded a certificate with an Honorary Mention.
Sanskriti The Gurukul takes the pride to share that our students attended one of Asia’s largest Model United Nations Conference, KIIT International MUN, Bhubaneswar and have made us STG proud.
Music, Art and Dance
Srotaswini Hazarika bagged the Third Prize in the Bharatnatyam Solo Competition in the HARMONY & ECO FEST (NATIONAL INTER SCHOOL COMPETITION) held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.
Srotaswini Hazarika secured the first position in the solo dance competition in 3rd Chimera Society of Arts in collaboration with Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Directorate of State Museum, Govt of Assam.
Tanisha Mazumder participated in the Solo Western Singing competition of the R.R. Das Memorial Inter School Competition and bagged the 2nd prize for her performance.
Srishti Dey a student of SC XII, was awarded Second Prize among the 97 entries for the Poster Competition organized at the Green Hub Festival, Tezpur.
At the Delhi Public School, Guwahati, Inter-School Swimming competition, Russel Rahman won two silver medals in 50m Freestyle and Butterfly. He along with Rishav Neog, Kanjanav Gogoi and Sangjam Sarma won 3rd Position in 4x50m Freestyle Relay.
Russel Rahman won the bronze medal in the 50m butterfly (swimming) in National Sports Day Organised by Sports Authority of Assam and two silver medals in the 7th All Kamrup Swimming Competition held at B. P.Chaliha Swimming pool Nehru Stadium.
Prithvi Agarwal bagged a Gold Medal in under 59 kg Boys and Rishith Bharadwaj bagged a Bronze Medal in the under 51 kg Boys category in the National Taekwondo Tournament, 2018 of CISCE Sports and Games held at Ahmedabad. Prithvi Agarwal represented Team CISCE in the School Games Federation Of India 2019 at Nadiad, Gujrat.
Science and Technology
In Robozest competition held in IIT Guwahati, Rehan Mazid and Harsh Raj Patowary secured the fifth position. Our design layout and handmade model got appreciation from judges.
Three students, Riddhiman Shaw, Subhrajay Changkakoti and Saptarshi Adhikary participated in the Young Innovators Programme held at IIT Kharagpur. A Total of 800 teams from across the country and abroad like Singapore and Sri Lanka had participated in the competition and STG was ranked 9th in the competition.
167 students of STG appeared in an International Chemistry Quiz (ANCQ) conducted by The Royal Australian Chemical Institute, out of which 5 students received High Distinction Excellence and 16 of them received High Distinction.
