Animal prints and patterns the form of art

The natural world presents a palette of beautiful complexity. From the peacock tail and the eyespots of a butterfly to the evolving camouflage of the chameleon, nature loves patterns.

We have been discussing animals a lot in the class, especially with the introduction of food chain and types of consumers. We realized that most of what is covered in the class can be incorporated into their pattern artwork. And thus, we came up with animal patterns.
It was interesting to see the students of SC IE (Atelier) representing animal prints and patterns the form of art. They enjoyed the activity and it was wonderful to see how expressive they were with their art.
