Travel expands your horizons and school life cannot be complete without the fun of educational tours and excursions. It gives students good learning experience as they step out of their comfort zone and take decisions independently as well as a team.
We organized 6 days (19th January-24th January 2019) camping and trekking trip to Coorg, Karnataka for the students of Study Centre VIII, IX and XI. The trip included several activities like rock climbing and Tyrolean Traverse activity where they understood the proper techniques of climbing a mountain and crossing a valley. Our students also embarked on 3 days trekking expedition to the highest mountain of Kodagu district – Mt. Tadiandamol which is at a height of 5730 ft. Apart from all these students also experienced many things like cooking their own food at the camping site, putting up their tents, learning how to keep the wilderness clean and safe.
