The Wright Architecture (Atelier Approach, II E)

Frank Lloyd Wright felt a deep connection with nature, often anchoring his designs directly to the natural landscape. He designed art glass windows with native plants and built large planters into the exterior world. He even designed lay lights to mimic the effect of sunlight falling through leafy branches.

Inspired by Wright’s love for nature, this engagement aims to explore the concepts of sustainable design and adaptive reuse with students and create models to materialize the understanding.
